Is GTA 6 out yet?
No. The game is confirmed for November 19, 2026 and has not launched. Take-Two Interactive has repeatedly reaffirmed the date, including at its FY2026 earnings, and has publicly dismissed rumors of a slip into 2027 — though, as the history below shows, dates can change.

GTA 6 was first shown in December 2023 and originally targeted 2025. It slipped to May 26, 2026, and then to November 19, 2026 — about a year past the original window.
Platforms
At launch GTA 6 is current-gen console only:
- PlayStation 5
- PlayStation 5 Pro
- Xbox Series X
- Xbox Series S
Will there be a PC version?
No PC version at launch. A PC port is widely expected to follow later (as with GTA V and RDR2) but has not been announced by Rockstar.
What about GTA Online?
Rockstar officially calls GTA 6 “a single-player experience.” A separate online mode is expected after launch but is not confirmed. See the comparison with GTA 5 for how the online plans differ.
