The setting: Leonida
GTA 6 returns to Vice City — Rockstar’s take on Miami — but this time inside a whole modern state called Leonida, a reimagining of Florida. Beyond the neon city, the map stretches into wetlands, island keys, industrial ports and rural counties.
Map regions revealed
| Region | What’s there |
|---|---|
| Vice-Dale County | Vice City, South Beach, Ocean Beach, Little Havana, Little Haiti |
| Grassrivers | An Everglades-style wetland with wildlife, hunting and fishing |
| Leonida Keys | Island chain south of the mainland |
| Port Gellhorn (Kelly County) | Industrial port town |
| Ambrosia County | Rural inland region |
| Mount Kalaga National Park | Mountain and forest wilderness |
The map is widely estimated at roughly 2–2.7× the size of GTA 5, but Rockstar has not published an official figure. See the full GTA 6 vs GTA 5 comparison.
