Why is GTA 6 $79.99?

GTA 6’s $79.99 standard price is a $10 step up from the recent $69.99 norm for big releases — and $20 more than GTA 5’s 2013 launch price of $59.99. Is there a physical disc?

Not at launch. Physical “copies” are a download code in a box rather than a disc, with physical availability beginning November 12, 2026 the week before release. Most players will buy digitally.
